The companion to the Youtube tutorials
A Solidity tutorial series split into 33 numbered folders, each pairing a short contract with a corresponding YouTube video — covers everything from basic syntax to assembly, multisig wallets, and calling contracts from Java via web3j. It's for people who want a structured, video-led intro to Solidity rather than a reference or a library to actually use.
Goes further than most beginner content — dedicated tutorials on inline assembly, gas mechanics, and auditing/security rather than stopping at 'hello world' token contracts. Each folder is small and self-contained, so you can jump to the exact concept you need without wading through a monorepo. Covers both ERC20 and the less common ERC223 side by side, which is a decent way to understand why ERC223 lost.
The README is just a list of YouTube links — there's no written explanation anywhere, so the code is close to useless without watching 33 videos. Most contracts use old-style Solidity (no SPDX headers, truffle instead of Hardhat/Foundry) and there's no indication any of this was updated for post-London/Paris EVM changes or Solidity 0.8.x overflow checks. No CI, and only a couple of tutorials (21, 22, 25, 26) actually have tests — the rest are unverified snippets you're expected to trust. Last push was October 2023, so it's not maintained against anything current.
