:a: Angular :rocket: NestJS :monkey: Starter Kit

An Nx monorepo starter kit pairing an Angular frontend with a NestJS/TypeORM API, bundling JWT/OpenID auth via Keycloak, a generic CRUD layer, and a websocket notifications module. Aimed at teams who want a production-shaped full-stack boilerplate rather than a bare `ng new` + `nest new`, with the deployment story (Kubernetes, Helm, Istio) baked in from day one.

The core/crud module (base controller, service, repository, entity) is genuinely reusable scaffolding, not just a toy CRUD example. Auth is a real implementation: JWT + Passport strategies plus Keycloak/OpenID integration, not a stubbed-out guard. Release and dependency hygiene is unusually mature for a starter kit — semantic-release, Commitizen, Renovate, and CodeQL are all wired into CI. The Helm/Istio/Traefik/GKE/OpenShift configs under .deploy are detailed enough to be useful as a reference even outside this project.

Last pushed March 2023 — Angular, NestJS, and Nx have all moved through multiple major versions since, so anything you scaffold from this will need an immediate, nontrivial upgrade pass. The install instructions require `npm install --force`, which means the dependency tree doesn't actually resolve cleanly as shipped. Several e2e specs are literally named `*.todo-e2e-spec.ts` (e.g. the auth and notifications e2e tests), so the test coverage implied by the Codecov badge is thinner than it looks. The deploy tooling (Istio, Keycloak HA config, GKE-specific manifests) is a lot of surface area to inherit for a project whose stated purpose is to be a lightweight starting point.
