:video_game: A multiplayer first person shooter game based on Unity Game Engine

A Unity3D networked FPS built on Photon Unity Networking 2, demonstrating player sync, animation layering, and a grab-bag of alternative input devices (Kinect, Leap Motion, VR, Xbox controller) each sitting in its own branch. It reads as a student/portfolio project rather than a game anyone is meant to ship, and it's a reasonable reference for Unity networking and animation-mask basics.

The animation setup is the most technically interesting part: body masks let shooting and jumping play independently (upper vs lower body), and blend trees interpolate walk/run directions instead of hard-switching clips. The Kinect input branch documents actual skeleton-node math for triggering shoot/move/jump/rotate, which is more detail than most hobby Kinect integrations bother to write down. Material-specific bullet impact effects (wood, metal, concrete, water, glass) show more polish than the bare-bones gameplay loop would suggest.

Every alternate input branch (Kinect, Leap Motion, VR, Xbox) has been unmaintained since 2020 per the README's own warning, so the feature that makes this repo distinctive is effectively dead weight on checkout. It depends on Photon Unity Networking 2, a paid Asset Store package not vendored in the repo, so you can't clone and run without buying/acquiring it separately. The README lists roughly 10 scripts for what's billed as a full networked shooter — no mention of matchmaking beyond room join/create, no weapon variety, no tests or CI, and the core mouse-and-keyboard branch's design hasn't visibly moved past the mid-2010s screenshots still embedded in the README.
