"Slay the Spire"-like roguelite fully in console.

A Slay the Spire-style deckbuilder roguelike written in Go, playable either in a literal terminal or in a dedicated window via a custom terminal emulator. It's aimed at devs who like terminal games or want to see how far you can push Lua-scripted game content inside a Go engine — not really for players looking for a finished game yet.

The Lua integration is the standout: card/artifact/enemy definitions are Lua, but the Go side generates matching lua-language-server annotations and markdown docs straight from the same code that registers the Lua globals, so the docs can't drift from the actual API. There's a fuzzy tester wired into CI that throws random sequences of game operations at the Lua/Go bridge for 30s to surface panics, plus Lua-level unit tests attached directly to status effect/card definitions and runnable through go test. Also shipped their own terminal emulator (CRT) to support a non-terminal GL build with optional CRT/grain shaders, rather than bolting on a half-working alternative renderer.

The README itself says it's early dev, 'not balanced at all,' and 'mostly contains test content' — so anyone installing it to actually play will run into an incomplete game, not a rough-edges-but-playable one. Last push was September 2024, so it's been quiet for over a year with no clear signal on whether it's still maintained. Terminal compatibility is only verified against three terminals (Windows Terminal, cmd, iTerm2), so running the `_term` build elsewhere is a gamble despite the README's 'modern terminal' requirement. The project also spreads across four build targets (term, gl, ssh, wasm) with no single doc comparing tradeoffs beyond the basic term-vs-gl pitch.
