My config files for Hyprland Wayland Window Manager

A personal Hyprland dotconfig by Chris Titus, a popular Linux YouTuber. It bundles a working Hyprland setup with Wayland-native tooling (rofi, dunst, swww, AGS) for Arch Linux. This is a starting point to copy from, not a framework to depend on.

The package list is complete and opinionated — you won't spend hours figuring out what wayland screenshot or notification daemon to grab. AGS (Aylur's GTK Shell) instead of Waybar is a reasonable choice that gives more flexibility for custom widgets. The set-hypr.sh installer script reduces the initial setup to a handful of commands. Coming from an author with a large following means issues surface quickly and the config has been tested on real hardware.

It's one person's dotfiles — the hyprland.conf and style.conf are flat files with no modularity, so pulling in just the keybinds or just the theme without taking everything is messy. Arch-only via paru; there's no path for anyone on Fedora, NixOS, or Ubuntu. The README mentions an RX5700XT GPU quirk with no workaround beyond 'reload' — hints at hardware assumptions baked in. Last meaningful commit activity is slowing down; Hyprland itself moves fast and upstream API breaks are not tracked here.
