This contain my personal config files. Here you'll find configs, customizations, themes, and whatever I need to personalize my Linux and mac OS experience.

Christian Lempa's personal dotfiles for macOS/Linux — terminal and shell configs for tools like Ghostty, Warp, iTerm2, Helix, and zsh, managed via yadm. It's for people who want a reference setup from a well-known homelab/DevOps YouTuber, not a reusable framework.

Covers a good spread of modern terminal tooling (Ghostty, Warp, Helix) rather than just the usual vim/tmux combo, so it's a decent place to see how those newer tools are configured in practice. Shell config is split into separate files (aliases.zsh, functions.zsh, nvm.zsh) instead of one giant .zshrc, which is easier to cherry-pick from. Consistent custom theme (xcad2k) applied across multiple apps shows some actual care in unifying the environment rather than using each tool's defaults.

No documentation of what any individual config does, why choices were made, or what dependencies (fonts, CLI tools, package managers) are assumed — you have to reverse-engineer it from the files themselves. The README is almost entirely channel/Discord/sponsorship promotion and says nothing about the actual contents, which is a bad sign for a repo with 1.1k stars. Bootstrapping is a single opaque yadm/bootstrap script with no explanation of what it installs or touches on your machine, risky to run blind. Being personal dotfiles, there's no versioning or compatibility guarantee — paths and tool choices can change without notice, so pin to a commit if you're borrowing from it rather than tracking the repo live.
