My personal dotfiles
Takuya Matsuyama's (craftzdog, creator of Inkdrop) personal dotfiles covering Neovim/LazyVim, fish, tmux, git, and PowerShell on Windows. It's for developers who want a reference modern Lua-based Neovim setup rather than a drop-in framework.
The Neovim config is genuinely well-organized LazyVim-based Lua (separate config/, plugins/, and craftzdog/ for personal overrides), which is more maintainable than the typical 2000-line init.vim. It covers three platforms with distinct fish configs per OS and a parallel PowerShell setup for Windows, which most dotfiles repos skip. The author backs it with video walkthroughs and blog posts explaining the actual workflow, not just the config dump.
It's explicitly personal config with a 'don't blindly use this' warning in the README — no install script, no stow/chezmoi structure, you're expected to cherry-pick by hand. Heavy dependency chain (Nerd Fonts, ripgrep, fd, a C compiler, specific terminal emulators with undercurl support) means a lot has to be right before the Neovim half even works. The CI workflows present are just gitleaks and Claude bot integration, not anything that validates the dotfiles themselves, so breakage across Neovim/LazyVim version bumps isn't caught automatically.
