A React admin dashboard template built on the Shards UI kit, targeting developers who need a quick starting point for internal tools or SaaS dashboards. It ships a handful of pre-built pages (blog overview, user profile, component gallery) with Chart.js charts and a clean Bootstrap-derived visual style.
The component showcase page is genuinely useful — buttons, forms, sliders, and date pickers all in one place so you can evaluate the UI kit before committing. The layout structure (layouts/, views/, components/ split) is sensible and easy to follow for a template. Sketch files are available for designers, which is a practical inclusion most free templates skip. The visual design holds up well for a free template — spacing and typography are noticeably more considered than typical Bootstrap clones.
Last commit was December 2022 and it's built on Create React App, which is officially deprecated — you'd be starting a new project on a dead toolchain immediately. State management is Flux, not Redux or Zustand; Flux has been effectively abandoned since ~2018 and the readme acknowledges you'd want to replace it. The 'pro version' upsell means the free version is intentionally limited — several obvious gaps in the template set exist specifically to push you toward purchase. Zero tests beyond the CRA boilerplate App.test.js, so there's nothing to catch regressions if you extend it.
