List of Science courses with video lectures

A manually maintained list of free university-level math and science video lectures, collected from MIT OCW, Yale, Coursera, YouTube, and similar sources. It's a bookmark dump with curation intent — useful if you're looking for structured academic courses rather than YouTube tutorials. The audience is self-learners who want real university material, not introductory content.

The physics and mathematics coverage is genuinely deep — not just calculus and linear algebra, but string theory, algebraic topology, algebraic number theory, and functional analysis from actual research universities. MIT OCW, Susskind's Theoretical Minimum, and Ted Chinburg's Penn lectures are all legitimately excellent sources. The repo covers multiple levels for the same topic (e.g., three tiers of calculus from intro through multivariable), which is useful for finding the right entry point. It's been actively maintained since at least 2015 — the last push was mid-2026, so links are periodically refreshed.

It's a flat Markdown file with no search, no difficulty ratings, no estimated time commitments, and no indication of which links are dead. A significant fraction of the Academic Torrents and older iTunesU links are almost certainly broken. There's no machine-readable structure — you can't filter by topic, institution, or level without reading the whole thing. Chemistry has two entries (two Yale courses) while physics has dozens, making the coverage wildly uneven. For a developer audience, there's nothing on discrete math, algorithms, or the math underpinning ML — the closest you get is convex optimization.
