An enormous, community-maintained list of university-level CS course videos — algorithms, systems, ML, theory, and more. It's a syllabus aggregator, not a course itself: every entry links to a real lecture series from MIT, CMU, Stanford, Berkeley, IITs, and others. Useful for anyone who wants to self-study a specific CS topic without sifting through YouTube or googling per-university course sites.
Coverage is genuinely wide — algorithms alone spans introductory through advanced research-level courses across a dozen universities. The maintainer enforces a 'university-level only' bar, so it doesn't devolve into bootcamp ads or 10-minute tutorial links. Updated reasonably recently (July 2026), and courses from 2024-2025 are present, not just historical archives. The IIT NPTEL courses fill a gap — free, high-quality lectures that most Western developers wouldn't discover otherwise.
No quality signal at all — a mediocre 2008 recording sits next to a landmark Martin Kleppmann lecture series with zero differentiation. Many links are years old and a non-trivial fraction are dead (institution sites rearrange content constantly). There's no 'start here' path for someone who wants to learn a topic end-to-end; you get a flat list of 40 algorithms courses with no guidance on which is actually good. The repo is essentially a giant markdown file — no search, no filtering by year or difficulty, no rating.
