Fernanda-Kipper/Readme-Templates

This repository provides a series of README templates to help developers document their projects 🚀👩‍💻

A collection of six README templates for frontend, backend, and profile pages, aimed at developers who want a decent-looking project page without starting from a blank file. There's no tooling, no generation, just copy-paste Markdown.

The templates are split by use case (simple vs. badge-heavy vs. minimalist), which is more useful than a single one-size-fits-all template. The badge variants use shields.io with the style=for-the-badge aesthetic that reads well on GitHub. The repo is small enough to clone and adapt in five minutes. Portuguese translation is included, which reflects the author's audience and is a thoughtful addition.

Six templates is a thin catalogue — nothing for CLIs, libraries, monorepos, or documentation sites. There's no script or generator; you're manually deleting sections you don't need, which is tedious. The badge templates hardcode specific tech logos, so anyone not using the exact stack shown has to hunt for replacements. No previews in the README itself — you have to click each badge to see what a template looks like, which is a poor browsing experience for something that's purely visual.
