#1 Self hosted CMMS web & mobile application that allows you to manage enterprise maintenance for free - Computerized Maintenance Management System

Atlas CMMS is a self-hosted maintenance management system (Jira for technicians) with a Java Spring Boot backend, a React web frontend, and a React Native mobile app on both app stores. It's aimed at facilities/ops teams who need work orders, preventive maintenance, inventory, and purchase order tracking without paying for a SaaS CMMS.

The feature set is genuinely broad for an OSS project in this niche: work order workflows with automation triggers, PM scheduling, multi-tenant roles/permissions, SSO (OAuth2 + LDAP), Zapier webhooks, and real analytics dashboards (downtime, MTBF, cost trends) rather than just CRUD screens. It ships three real deployable surfaces, not a demo — the mobile apps are live on Play Store and App Store, pointed at your own backend URL. The docker-compose quick start actually gets you a running instance in two minutes, and the multi-tenant scoping (TenantAspect, audit config) shows this was built for real B2B deployments, not a toy.

It's AGPLv3 plus a separate commercial license, and the split isn't cosmetic — white labeling, custom branding, and unspecified 'advanced features' are gated behind a paid LICENSE_KEY, so a self-hoster expecting a fully free product will hit a wall. The backend leans hard on per-entity DTO boilerplate (Show/Post/Patch/Mini for nearly every resource), which means a lot of repetitive Spring ceremony to wade through when you want to extend it. Production deployment isn't a single binary — you're standing up Postgres, MinIO, and optionally SMTP/GCP storage, with no TLS by default, so ops overhead is real for a small team. Docs are split between a hosted docs site and PDFs ('Current features.pdf', 'Purpose.pdf') checked into the repo, which is an awkward way to maintain documentation long-term.
