// the take
A personal knowledge base of frontend fundamentals written in Chinese — JavaScript basics, DOM, CSS3, HTTP/networking, performance, algorithms and data structures, served as a static docute site. It's aimed at Chinese-speaking frontend developers studying for interviews or shoring up CS fundamentals, not at consumers of a library or tool.
Decent breadth for a single reference: sorting algorithms and data structures (BST, graphs, linked lists) sit alongside practical browser topics like BFC, reflow/repaint, and SSR, which most 'awesome list' style notes repos don't combine. Using docute means it's just markdown rendered client-side — no build step, trivial to fork and self-host, and easy to read the source notes directly on GitHub without even running the site.
Last pushed February 2022 — nearly four years stale, so anything time-sensitive (browser compatibility tables, ES feature notes, tooling like webpack config) is likely out of date. It's unreviewed personal notes, not an edited reference: no citations, no indication of fact-checking, and accuracy varies note to note since there's no equivalent of code review for prose. Chinese-only with no translation path, which caps the audience. docute itself is a lightly maintained static-site tool, so the hosted site (kb.hcysun.me) has its own bus-factor risk independent of the content.
