A basic NestJS CRUD API for a 'heroes' resource, built as a companion project for Fernando Herrera's NestJS course. It demonstrates controllers, services, DTOs, and query-based pagination/search using an in-memory array instead of a real database.

Clean separation of concerns following Nest's module/controller/service/DTO conventions, which makes it a reasonable reference for someone learning the framework's structure. The advanced-search and pagination DTOs show how to validate and shape query params properly with class-validator instead of just reading req.query directly.

Data lives in a static heroes.data.ts array, not a database, so there's no persistence, no TypeORM/Prisma module, and nothing here transfers to a real backend. The README is the untouched Nest CLI boilerplate — no mention of what heroes.data.ts contains, what the search fields do, or any example requests. No tests despite the default Jest setup being present, and no auth/guards on any endpoint, so it's a teaching scaffold, not something to fork for a real project.
