LaravelDaily/Laravel-Roadmap-Learning-Path

★ 5,621 · updated Mar 2024

A structured, opinionated learning path for Laravel, organized from beginner through senior level. It's a link collection, not a course — each topic points to official docs, YouTube videos, and third-party articles. Aimed at developers who want a map of what to learn and in what order, not a hand-holding tutorial.

The four-tier progression (Beginner → Advanced Beginner → Mid → Senior) is genuinely useful and reflects how the skill actually develops in practice. The mix of link types — official docs, video walkthroughs, interactive tests, paid courses — means you can pick the format that works for you without hunting. The demo projects at each level (personal blog, simple CRM) give concrete stopping points to verify what you actually retained. The SQL export of the roadmap data is an odd but useful touch for anyone who wants to build tooling on top of it.

Last updated March 2024, and the Laravel ecosystem moves fast — some linked content targets Laravel 8/9 and the starter kit advice (Breeze vs UI) has evolved since then. It's entirely a link aggregator: no explanations of why topics are ordered the way they are, so a beginner won't know which gaps matter most if they skip something. The 'Senior' section is thin and generic — design patterns and SOLID principles are not Laravel-specific skills, and the resources listed are mostly generic PHP content rebranded as senior-level Laravel. No coverage of newer official tooling like Folio, Volt, or Reverb.
