JADX-gui scripting plugin for dynamic decompiler manipulation
JADXecute bolts a dynamic Java code execution console onto JADX-gui, so Android reverse engineers can script against decompiled classes at runtime instead of just reading static output. It's aimed squarely at APK analysts who want an IDAPython-style workflow but for JADX.
It fills a real gap — JADX had no scripting story before this, unlike IDA/Ghidra. Scripts get full access to standard Java libs plus JADX's own APIs (JavaClass, JavaMethod, etc.), not some restricted DSL. It ships as a ready-to-run JADX build with the plugin baked in, so there's no separate plugin install step for users.
The repo is a full fork of jadx-with-jadxecute rather than a proper plugin artifact, so pulling in upstream JADX fixes means manually rebasing a huge vendored tree. Last push was February 2024 against JADX 1.4.7 — no indication it tracks current JADX releases. There's zero usage documentation in the README itself; everything is offloaded to an external wiki and a YouTube video. And running arbitrary Java scripts inside a GUI tool that people share snippets for is a real supply-chain risk with no sandboxing mentioned anywhere.
