iOS and macOS Decompiler
Malimite is a GUI decompiler for iOS and macOS apps (IPA files and .app bundles) built on top of Ghidra, with dedicated support for Swift demangling and Objective-C class reconstruction. It's aimed at reverse engineers and security researchers who currently have to hand-assemble a Ghidra + Hopper + jtool workflow just to get readable output from an Apple binary.
Handles IPA/bundle extraction and resource decoding directly instead of making you unzip and locate the Mach-O yourself. Has a real DemangleSwift.java pass for Swift symbol names, which is the single biggest pain point in iOS reversing that most generic decompilers ignore. Builds on Ghidra's decompilation engine rather than reimplementing lifting/analysis from scratch, so it inherits a mature backend instead of being a toy.
No test directory anywhere in the tree — for a tool whose whole job is producing correct demangled/reconstructed output, there's no way to tell if a given release regressed parsing without manually eyeballing results. Documentation is entirely offloaded to the GitHub wiki; the README itself has no setup or usage detail, so evaluating it means leaving the repo. Ghidra is an external, separately-installed dependency the user has to point the app at (see the gatekeeper/path screenshots), which is real setup friction and a likely source of version-mismatch bugs. The LLM method-translation feature (AIBackend.java) has no visible config for model choice, API cost, or fallback behavior in the README — it's a headline feature with zero documented operational detail.
