RogueBolt/netlod-926

C · AGPL-3.0 · updated Sep 2023

A web proxy/"unblocker" site built on the Ultraviolet (uv) rewriting proxy, designed to bypass network-level content filters (e.g., school or work firewalls) and front a bundle of cloned browser games and app shortcuts. Despite the "C" language tag, this is a Node.js app (index.js/package.json) with no visible C source — the tag is wrong.

Ships working Ultraviolet integration (static/h/uv.*) for actual request rewriting rather than a naive iframe wrapper, which is the correct approach for this kind of proxy. Supports one-click deploys to a dozen platforms (Heroku, Railway, Render, Replit, Glitch, Azure, AWS Amplify, GCP, IBM Cloud) via app.json/render.yaml, so getting an instance running takes no config knowledge. Tab/about:blank cloaking is implemented as a real feature, not just promised in the README.

The README is unedited Interstellar boilerplate — it still says "Interstellar is one of the most modern..." and never mentions what RogueBolt's fork actually changes, plus it spends more words on Discord self-promotion and star-begging than on how the thing works. Repo vendors entire games directly into git (static/calendar/retro-bowl/html5game has .ogg audio, .png textures, raw JS bundles) instead of fetching them at runtime or via a CDN, which bloats clone size and makes licensing of third-party game assets unclear. Zero stars, zero forks, last pushed September 2023 — effectively abandoned, and support is funneled entirely to a Discord server rather than GitHub issues. No tests, no CI, no real configuration docs beyond deploy buttons.
