// the find
ShahidMalek/BlazorDemo
A Blazor WebAssembly solution on .NET 8 with a Client project, a Shared project, and, judging by the solution name, an API behind them. The visible tree shows mostly unmodified default template pages, so it is most useful as a first look at how the hosted WASM pieces fit together.
- It uses the standard hosted Blazor WebAssembly layout, with the Client and Shared projects in one solution. Anyone who has seen the template can find their way around it quickly.
- The client pages (Index, Counter, FetchData, and a shared nav layout) cover routing, component state, and an HTTP call to the backend in a small amount of code, so the moving parts are easy to see.
- Build output is committed. Client/bin/Debug includes the full WASM runtime, dotnet.native.wasm, the ICU .dat files, and .pdb files. That adds tens of megabytes that will churn on every rebuild, and a .gitignore would have prevented it.
- The .vs/ folder is committed too, including the .suo file and the FileContentIndex and DesignTimeBuild caches. That is per-machine IDE state and adds noise to every diff.
- Nothing visible goes beyond the template. SurveyPrompt.razor is the default survey banner, and the page names match the stock template, so this reads as an unmodified starting point rather than a finished demo.
- The last push was March 2025, the target framework is net8.0 (which leaves support in November 2026), and GitHub tags the repo as C even though it is a C# solution.
