Companion Repo to https://www.udemy.com/go-the-complete-developers-guide/
A grab-bag of small Go snippets that accompany Stephen Grider's Udemy 'Go: The Complete Developer's Guide' course — decks of cards, HTTP requests, interfaces, structs, channels. It's for people enrolled in that specific course who want the reference code, not a standalone learning resource.
Each topic is isolated into its own tiny main.go, so you can run a single concept (channels, interfaces, structs) without wading through the rest. The deck.go example includes a matching deck_test.go, which is a decent minimal illustration of Go's built-in testing package for beginners.
There's no explanation outside the course videos — the README is one line, so the code is meaningless without a paid Udemy subscription. Nothing has been touched since April 2024 and it predates generics and several idiomatic changes in modern Go, so patterns shown here aren't how you'd write this today. It's course-ware, not a library or tool: no module boundaries worth reusing, no CI, and compiled binaries (main, in helloworld and printfile) are checked into the repo alongside source.
