An aggregation of tooling for using ES6 today

A hand-maintained list of ES6 tooling — transpilers, build-tool plugins (Gulp, Grunt, Broccoli, Webpack, etc.), polyfills, and parsers — assembled when ES6 wasn't natively supported and you needed Babel/Traceur plus a pile of glue to use it. Useful only as a historical snapshot of the 2014-2015 JS toolchain, not as a working reference today.

Genuinely broad coverage of the era's fragmented tooling landscape — it's a real record of how many build systems (Gulp, Grunt, Broccoli, Brunch, Duo, Gobble, Sprockets) needed their own separate transpiler plugin. Links are still mostly live and point to primary sources rather than blog posts.

Last pushed in 2019 and describes a problem that stopped existing years earlier — every browser and Node LTS has native ES6+ support now, so nothing here is a live recommendation. Most linked projects (Traceur, es6-module-transpiler, Broccoli plugins) are abandoned or archived, and several build tools listed (Duo, Gobble, Brunch) are themselves dead. No commentary or ranking within categories, just a flat link dump with no indication of which options were actually good even at the time.
