🐢 A collection of awesome browser-side JavaScript libraries, resources and shiny things.
A giant categorized link-list of browser-side JavaScript libraries and tools — package managers, bundlers, frameworks, testing tools, visualization libraries, editors, and more. It's useful as a bookmark page for scanning what exists in a given category (say, charting or state management) rather than something you'd install or run.
The category structure is genuinely good for browsing — narrow subsections like 'Timeline', 'Range Sliders', or 'Reactive Programming' beat scrolling a flat list. It's actively maintained (pushes in 2026, 35k stars, has a GitHub Actions link validator), so dead links get caught. Recent entries (fallow, sprae, interface-forge, hmpl) show it isn't just frozen 2015-era content.
No filtering for relevance or maintenance status — Bower, RequireJS, PhantomJS, and jQuery-era plugins sit next to actively maintained tools with zero indication of which ones you'd actually regret adopting today. Each entry is a one-line description with no context on bundle size, last release, or community consensus, so it's discovery, not evaluation — you still have to go check each one yourself. The 'browser-side' framing in the description doesn't hold up; there's Node-only tooling (test runners, CMS frameworks) mixed in with client-side libraries. As a link aggregator it also has no way to prevent low-value or self-promotional PRs beyond manual review, which is a constant maintenance burden on lists this size.
