anisul-Islam/react-assignment-1-products-listing-app
This is a classroom assignment repo for a React course, not a real tool or library — it's a scaffold for students to practice building a Products/Product component pair with props and basic CRA styling. Useful only as a reference solution if you're taking the same course or teaching a similar intro-to-React unit.
- Minimal, focused scope — just App -> Products -> Product with props, which is exactly the right size for teaching component composition
- Standard CRA setup with ESLint and Prettier configs already wired in, so students get consistent formatting for free
- Has a live demo link so students can check their output against a reference instead of guessing
- No actual product data, API, or state management — it's an assignment prompt, not a working app, so there's nothing here to adopt or build on
- No tests of any kind, which is fine for an assignment but means the repo teaches nothing about verifying component behavior
- Stale since mid-2024 with no real commit history worth examining — the star/fork count reflects student forks for grading, not interest in the code
- README is just a grading rubric, not documentation — zero context on design decisions or why things are structured this way
