ashishpatel26/Real-time-ML-Project

★ 769 · updated Dec 2023

A curated list of applied machine learning and data science notebooks and libraries across different industries.

A single giant README that links out to hundreds of other people's ML/data-science notebooks, organized by industry vertical (food, banking, biotech, construction, education, etc.). It's useful as a browsable index if you want to see what's been tried in a niche vertical, not as a project you install or run.

Genuinely wide coverage — dozens of industries with sub-categories, so you can find things like 'ATM surveillance' or 'asphalt binder analysis' that wouldn't surface in a normal GitHub search. Has a real table of contents with anchor links, so navigating a 1000+ entry list doesn't mean endless scrolling. Each link comes with a one-line description instead of a bare URL, so you can filter before clicking through.

There's no code here at all — the directory tree is just README.md and an assets image, it's a link-dump, not a project. The README states its own deprecation rule (drop anything unmaintained for 2-3 years) but clearly doesn't enforce it; many linked repos are from 2017-2019 and almost certainly dead, so expect serious link rot. The repo name and topics (real-time, real-time-data, deep-learning) have nothing to do with the actual content, which is a general industry-ML index — looks like topic-tag SEO rather than an accurate description. The content (including the header image path) points back to firmai/industry-machine-learning, so this looks like an unmaintained fork rather than an original list — check the upstream first.
