A curated list of awesome Machine Learning frameworks, libraries and software.
A long-running, community-maintained index of ML frameworks and libraries organized by programming language — not a library itself, just links and one-line descriptions. Useful as a starting point when you're working in a language ecosystem you don't know well and want to see what exists.
Genuine breadth: sections exist for languages most lists ignore (APL, Common Lisp, Fortran, Crystal), and the list has been running since 2014 so there's real history behind most entries. Deprecated projects are flagged inline with **[Deprecated]** rather than silently left in, which most awesome-lists skip. The maintainer just changed the PR policy to require emailing them for human verification after getting flooded with LLM-generated PRs — a sign someone is actually paying attention to what gets merged, not just rubber-stamping everything.
That new PR policy exists because it's needed: recent entries include obvious self-promotional spam with marketing-speak descriptions ('Sovereign GPU-native spatial AI architecture,' 'Eight agents run automatically: security, caching, memory, hallucination detection, and tamper-proof audit trail') sitting with equal visual weight next to genuinely useful, long-established tools. There's no quality or activity signal within a section — a library abandoned in 2016 reads the same as something actively maintained, so you still have to click through and vet each one yourself. And fundamentally it's a link list, not software — nothing to install, run, or evaluate beyond whether the taxonomy matches what you're looking for.
