A curated list of awesome Racket frameworks, libraries and software, maintained by Community
A community-maintained index of Racket libraries and tools, organized by category. It's a reasonable first stop when you're starting a Racket project and want to know if a database driver or web framework already exists. Last updated June 2023, so treat anything here as 'probably still alive, worth verifying.'
Categories are sensibly chosen and cover the practical range: DB drivers, web frameworks, GUI, audio, game dev. The CI workflow validates links, so dead links don't silently pile up. Bogdan Popa's libraries (koyo, deta, gui-easy) are well-maintained and genuinely good picks. Includes a pointer to the official pkgs.racket-lang.org catalog for completeness.
505 stars over several years tells you the Racket community is small, not that this list is bad — but go in with calibrated expectations about ecosystem depth. Several machine learning entries (DeepRacket, racket-ml) are research-grade experiments from 2015–2017, not production libraries. No quality signal beyond inclusion — a four-line wrapper and a mature framework sit in the same list with equal weight. Last commit was over two years ago, which for an ecosystem list means some entries are probably unmaintained without being marked as such.
