Provide JSON file template that demonstrate how to create customize Well-Architected reviews using Custom lenses.
A sample collection of JSON templates for building custom AWS Well-Architected Tool lenses, covering about two dozen AWS services plus a handful of solution lenses such as SaaS, IDP and ORR. Aimed at cloud architects who need a starting point for a service-specific or workload-specific review, and at anyone who wants to see what a well-formed custom lens file looks like.
Breadth is the main asset: DynamoDB, Glue, OpenSearch, Iceberg on S3, SageMaker and others each come with a lens JSON you can import directly, so you can compare how different authors structure questions, choices and risk ratings. Each lens sits in its own folder with a README that walks through the import, publish and review steps, which makes the workflow reproducible. The repo is actively maintained, with a push as recent as the snapshot date, and it is MIT-0 licensed, so you can copy the files without attribution overhead.
Quality varies a lot from folder to folder. The files were contributed by different domain experts and the README disclaimer says they were meant for pilot preview, not production. Nothing in the repo validates the JSON against the schema, so a typo in a choice ID will only show up when you try to import it into the console. There are also small hygiene problems: the ElastiCache file name has a space before `.json`, and the top-level README links to several lenses whose folders contain only a README and no JSON. Anyone adopting a lens here should expect to review the content and tighten it before relying on it for a real review.
