// the take

An awesome-list of tools, frameworks, books, podcasts, and people for product managers working specifically on AI products. It's pure curation with no code — aimed at PMs who want one page of vendor links and reading material instead of hunting for a 'state of AI PM' primer themselves.

Entries are grouped by actual PM workflow (research & synthesis, prototyping, docs & tracking, user feedback) rather than dumped into one flat list, so it's skimmable for a specific need. Every link carries a one-sentence description instead of a bare URL, so you get the gist without clicking through. The Research & Reports section is dated and ordered by recency, which is the right call for anything AI-related. Contribution guidelines set a real bar (no thin link collections, no paid-only tools without a meaningful free tier), which keeps low-effort PRs out.

It's almost entirely commercial SaaS — Claude, Notion, Linear, Productboard, Dovetail, Granola — with no open-source tooling represented, which is a strange gap for a GitHub-hosted list. Last push was 2026-05-24, about five months before this review, which matters more here than for most repos: a list whose entire premise is 'stay current as the practice forms' is already behind its own curve. The People to Follow and Communities sections have no visible mechanism for pruning stale or inactive accounts over time. Value lives entirely in the curator's taste, and there's no way to verify link quality or check for dead links short of clicking through all fifty-plus entries yourself.
