A static personal portfolio site (HTML/SCSS/JS) built as the companion code for a Bedimcode YouTube tutorial. It's for beginners following along with the video or anyone who wants a quick, no-framework portfolio template to fork and swap content into.
Mobile-first layout that actually works down to small screens, not just a desktop site squeezed into media queries. Scroll-triggered animations and smooth-scroll nav are implemented in plain JS with no animation library dependency. Zero build tooling required to run it — open index.html and it works, SCSS is only needed if you want to edit styles.
No package.json or build script for the SCSS source, so you need your own Sass compiler setup to touch assets/scss/styles.scss — the shipped CSS is the only build artifact. All content (name, photo, project images, bio text) is hardcoded inline in index.html, so adopting it means manually hunting through markup rather than editing a config or data file. No license file, which matters since this is explicitly tutorial/course material people are expected to copy. Unmaintained since August 2024 with no issues/PRs activity visible, and the 1,191 forks relative to 1,432 stars suggests most engagement is people cloning it once to customize, not an active project.
