A curated list of awesome Amazon Web Services (AWS) libraries, open source repos, guides, blogs, and other resources. Featuring the Fiery Meter of AWSome.

An 'awesome list' for AWS resources — SDKs, CLI tools, open source repos, guides, and community projects organized by service. It's a reference index, not a framework or library. Useful as a starting point when you're evaluating what AWS tooling exists for a given service.

The Fiery Meter of AWSome (star-count badges) gives you a fast signal on community traction without clicking every link. The Python module that auto-scans repos to keep star counts current is a clever touch — most awesome lists go stale immediately. Coverage across SDKs is genuinely broad, including niche languages like Haskell, Perl, and Clojure. The service-by-service breakdown makes it easy to land directly on what you need without scrolling the whole thing.

Last push was March 2024 and the list shows its age — several linked repos are archived or unmaintained, and newer AWS services (Bedrock, App Runner, EventBridge Pipes) are absent or thin. The Travis CI badge is a red flag since Travis CI is effectively dead for open source; the test infrastructure hasn't been touched in years. Many service sections just have a 'Contribute' placeholder with no actual links, making coverage uneven. This is a curated index of links, not vetted recommendations — quality varies wildly and there's no signal on which tools are actually worth using versus just being popular.
