Literature references for “Designing Data-Intensive Applications”
A companion repo to Martin Kleppmann's 'Designing Data-Intensive Applications' that collects links to the full text of every reference cited in the book, organized by chapter. It's for readers of the book, print or ebook, who want to chase down a paper or blog post without manually searching for it.
Chapter-by-chapter markdown files make it trivial to jump to the exact reference you need instead of scrolling a flat bibliography. Links get fixed via community PRs, which matters a lot here since academic and blog URLs rot constantly. The chapter maps (PDF/JPEG poster) are a genuinely nice bonus most reference lists wouldn't bother including.
No automated link checking — broken-link fixes depend entirely on someone noticing and submitting a PR, so stale entries can sit for a long time between the maintainer's passes. It's static content with zero tooling: no search, no way to query by topic across chapters, you just ctrl-F through markdown files. CC BY-NC license means you can't reuse this in anything commercial, which is a real constraint if you wanted to build on it. There's also no versioning tying references to which edition of the book they correspond to, so readers of older/newer prints may hit mismatched numbering.
