jai bindings to GGPO rollback netcode
Jai bindings to GGPO, the rollback netcode library used in fighting games, layered over ggponet.h. It includes a port of GGPO's vectorwar sample and a higher-level ggez wrapper, aimed at people building rollback games in Jai.
- The ggpo-bindings example mirrors GGPO's vectorwar sample, so you can check the bindings against a known C++ reference rather than trusting them blind.
- The bindings sit directly on ggponet.h with a prebuilt win/ggpo.lib, so Windows users don't have to build GGPO from source first.
- run2p.bat starts two local instances, which is the fastest way to see rollback behaviour without setting up a second machine or network.
- Nothing has been pushed since April 2021, and the README doesn't say which Jai version it was tested against. Expect to fix compile errors against current Jai before it runs.
- Installation is manual: clone the repo, then rename the folder from ggpo-jai to ggpo under jai/modules. The module name depends on that rename, and nothing automates it.
- Only a Windows library is shipped. The README says nothing about Linux or macOS, so on those platforms you have to build GGPO yourself.
- The directory listing is truncated and shows no LICENSE file, so it's unclear from the repo what terms the bindings are published under.
