AWS zero to hero repo for devops engineers to learn AWS in 30 Days. This repo includes projects, presentations, interview questions and real time examples.

A 30-day, day-by-day study plan for AWS covering core DevOps-relevant services (IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, the CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy trio, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Terraform), paired with a YouTube series. It's aimed at people studying for an AWS DevOps role or cert, not experienced engineers looking for production-grade reference implementations.

The day-by-day structure actually maps to a sane learning order (IAM/EC2/VPC basics before CI/CD before containers/K8s), and most days pair the theory with a concrete hands-on project like a secure VPC with public/private subnets or a blue/green CodeDeploy rollout. The interview-questions directory (500+ questions, scenario-based, split by service) is a genuinely useful standalone reference independent of the tutorial content. Several days ship real artifacts, not just prose: Dockerfile + buildspec.yml + appspec.yml for the CodeBuild/CodeDeploy days, Terraform files for Day 24, a Lambda function for stale EBS snapshot cleanup.

Coverage is very uneven — some days (1, 5, 6) are a few paragraphs with zero code, others have full project folders, and there's no index telling you which is which before you open it. None of the code is tested or wired to CI, so there's no guarantee the Terraform, Lambda, or deploy scripts still work; the Day 24 Terraform hardcodes things like AMIs with no backend config, so it'll silently break outside the author's original account/region. It's a checklist of AWS console/CLI walkthroughs rather than something that teaches DevOps engineering discipline — no discussion of rollback safety, IaC modularity, or state management anywhere in the material.
