This is the companion repo for a free YouTube course on Azure DevOps — a day-by-day folder structure (Day1 through Day17) with notes, agendas, and links matching each video episode, covering everything from Boards and Repos through pipelines, Terraform, AKS, and security. It's aimed at people learning Azure DevOps from scratch who want a written reference to go with the videos, not people looking for a library or tool to drop into a project.
Genuinely broad coverage of the Azure DevOps surface — Boards, Repos, build/release pipelines, Artifacts, Test Plans, self-hosted agents on VMSS, Terraform-based IaC, AKS deployment, and security/permissions all get dedicated days with real demo apps (a YouTube clone, a healthcare microservices app, a QR generator). The day-by-day structure with explicit prerequisites and status checkmarks makes it easy to follow linearly, and topics like blue-green deployment gates and secret scanning go a level deeper than the average 'getting started' tutorial.
Despite the Shell language tag, there's barely any actual code to run — this is markdown notes and links per folder, and the real content lives in YouTube videos you have to watch; the repo alone doesn't teach you anything. The fork count (2009) dwarfing the star count (1335) is the classic signature of a 'fork to follow along' tutorial repo rather than a project people actually depend on or contribute back to. There's no changelog or indication of what's been updated as Azure DevOps itself changes, so day-one content from whenever this started could be stale without any way to tell from the repo itself.
