Python语言基础50课
A Chinese-language beginner Python course (50 lessons in Markdown) covering language basics through file I/O, regex, web scraping, concurrency, and basic MySQL/SQL. It's a companion/rewrite of the author's much larger Python-100-Days project, aimed squarely at Chinese-speaking newcomers to programming, not experienced developers.
The lesson progression is genuinely well-sequenced for absolute beginners — it goes from variables and control flow into practical applied topics (Excel/Word/PDF handling, email/SMS, image processing) before hitting scraping and databases, which keeps early lessons motivating. 12.6k stars and heavy forking suggest real usage as a study resource, likely in bootcamps or self-study groups. Content is being actively maintained (pushed within the last few months).
There's no actual code in the repo — it's all prose Markdown lessons with no accompanying .py files, exercises, or solutions checked in; readers have to go to Baidu Netdisk (a Chinese cloud drive) for source files, which is a dead end for non-Chinese-speaking or non-mainland users. No English translation at all, so it's not useful outside the Chinese-speaking audience despite the visibility. It's also monetized/community-gated in a way that's unusual for a GitHub repo (paid WeChat groups, QR codes for payment), which reads more like a lead-gen funnel for the author's paid courses than a self-contained open resource. No CI, tests, or license file visible in the tree, and no way to verify the pedagogical content quality without reading Chinese.
