A Laravel package wrapping the Flutterwave (formerly Rave) payment API, targeting African markets with support for card payments, mobile money, bank transfers, and payouts. Good breadth of African payment methods covered — mobile money variants per country (M-Pesa, GH, UG, RW, Zambia), ACH, vouchers, and bank transfers, not just card payments. VuePress docs site with per-feature pages is more thorough than a single README wall of text. The Facade pattern fits naturally into Laravel's service container and keeps integration code clean. Tests exist with stubs and feature/unit split, which is more than most payment wrappers bother with.
README still references Laravel 5, 7, 8 — Laravel 12 is current, and there's no indication of compatibility or active maintenance beyond a February 2026 push. Flutterwave rebranded from 'Rave' years ago, and the package still leans heavily on the old name throughout, which is a yellow flag for whether it tracks the current API version. 152 stars and 120 forks with no CI badge (Travis config is commented out) and no recent activity signals a community that has largely moved on. Tokenized and pre-auth charges listed as 'coming next' have apparently been coming next for years.
