App where you can learn everything you need to know about your next journey and how to make it safe, hassle-free, and on budget. It has information on your scheduled flights, reward miles, best hotel deals, and more.
A Flutter demo app for a travel flow: home, flight search, tickets, profile, and a hotel list, built as one Dart codebase for Android, iOS, and web. It works as a reference for a multi-tab Flutter UI, but the data looks static, so treat it as a layout sample rather than a working travel client.
- The layout is conventional: screens live in lib/pages, reusable pieces in lib/widgets, and styles, strings, and sizing helpers in lib/utils. It is easy to navigate if you are new to the framework.
- Hotel data sits in lib/json/hotel_list.dart rather than inside the widgets, so swapping in a real API would mean changing one data source instead of the views.
- Sizing is pulled into a dedicated size_config.dart instead of being scattered through the screens, which is the right place to handle different phone dimensions.
- The Android, iOS, and web platform folders are all present, with launcher icons and manifests, so it builds across targets without much scaffolding work.
- The data is hardcoded. The visible tree has no networking or service layer, so flight status, miles, and hotel deals are almost certainly mock data. That falls short of the README's pitch about scheduled flights. The tree is truncated, so a layer could exist below the cut.
- The only test is test/widget_test.dart, which is the Flutter template file by name. Nothing visible covers search, tickets, or profile behaviour, and the template test likely doesn't match this UI.
- Development has stopped: the last push was October 2025, almost a year ago. The README is still mostly Flutter boilerplate with codelab and docs links, and the clone command points to flutter-airline-app while the repo is named airline-app.
