Static analysis for Angular projects.
A TSLint rule set that encodes the Angular style guide into lint checks — component/directive naming, lifecycle hook misuse, template bindings like banana-in-box, unused CSS, and a chunk of accessibility rules. It's for teams still on an Angular CLI/TSLint setup rather than ESLint.
Rule coverage is genuinely deep — it catches Angular-specific footguns like `no-conflicting-lifecycle`, impure pipes, and metadata property misuse that generic linters won't know about. The `.codelyzer.js` hook for custom template/style transforms (Sass, Jade, etc.) is a nice escape hatch for non-standard setups. Rules have a documented stable/experimental status instead of just dumping everything on by default.
It's built entirely on TSLint, which Palantir deprecated years ago and Angular CLI has long since dropped as the default — the README itself tells you to go use angular-eslint instead, which is a strange thing for the project's own docs to say. CI badge points at Travis, a dead service, which is a decent proxy for how actively this is maintained. Anyone adopting this today is adopting a shim for a toolchain that's already been migrated away from, not a forward-looking lint setup.
