Interactive roadmaps, guides and other educational content to help developers grow in their careers.
This is the content repository behind roadmap.sh — thousands of markdown files, one per topic node, organized under roadmaps/<slug>/content/, covering everything from frontend/backend/devops roadmaps to niche ones like AI agents and Claude Code. It's for developers who want a structured, visual path through a domain or want to contribute topic writeups rather than app code.
Content is decomposed to one markdown file per topic, mapped 1:1 to a node ID on the site, so contributing means editing a single small file instead of touching any app logic. GitHub Actions (sync-content-to-repo, sync-repo-to-database) push merged content live automatically, no manual deploy step. Breadth is genuinely wide and current — roadmaps for things like Claude Code and AI agents exist alongside the classics, and the repo was pushed within the last day.
There's no application code here, just content — if you wanted to see how the interactive roadmap UI itself is built, this repo won't show you that. Quality is crowd-sourced and uneven; the README's only stated rule is 'keep file names intact', with no visible style or technical review bar beyond that. The topic@nodeId.md naming couples every file to a node ID on the live site, which is fragile enough that they needed a dedicated cleanup-orphaned-content workflow to handle renamed/removed nodes.
