nitishpotdar/Distributed-Banking-Application

C · updated Mar 2018

The objective of the program is to design and develop 3 tier interactive TCP/IP client – server banking application using Socket API. The Distributed Banking Application can be useful to record the transactions made by the customers, help the customers pay the utility bill online, or help the tellers to open new bank accounts and it will be helpful for the system administrators to authorize/verify the identity of the customers.

A university assignment implementing a 3-tier TCP/IP banking client-server application in C using raw sockets. Covers basic banking operations — transactions, bill payment, account creation, and admin identity verification. This is academic work from 2018 with no real-world applicability.

The scope is clear and bounded for what it is; it demonstrates basic socket programming concepts that are genuinely educational for someone learning network programming in C.

Zero stars, zero forks, last touched in 2018 — this is an abandoned homework submission. No Makefile or build instructions. Results are in a .docx file, not code or tests. No authentication beyond the described 'admin verification', and raw C socket code from a student project will have buffer overflows and no input validation. There is nothing here worth featuring to working developers.
