Godot Minimal Theme
A single-file editor theme for Godot that gives the UI a flatter, less noisy look than the stock theme. It's for Godot users who want a cleaner editor without messing with theme editing themselves — but as of Godot 4.6 it's obsolete, since this exact theme is now the built-in default.
It's genuinely minimal in the literal sense: one .tres file, no plugin, no dependencies, installed via a settings dropdown. It respects the editor's existing color/contrast/corner-radius settings instead of hardcoding a fixed palette, so it adapts to whatever base color and accent you pick rather than forcing its own. Getting adopted as the native Godot 4.6 default is a real signal the design held up under scrutiny from the engine maintainers.
There's no source to speak of — it's a compiled theme resource, so if it doesn't render right in your setup you can't easily read or patch it, just regenerate from scratch. The repo is now essentially archived in spirit: the README tells you not to install it on anything current, which means anyone finding this through search or an old tutorial link will do unnecessary work. Compatibility is only claimed for 4.3–4.5, with no stated plan for older Godot versions or edge cases like custom editor plugins that assume the stock theme's metrics.
