Some books I read
This isn't a code project — it's ruanyf's personal reading log, a single README listing hundreds of books he's read since 2010 across literature, biography, history, science, and tech, each tagged with a thumbs-up/thumbs-down rating. It's useful mainly as a browsable book list for developers who read Chinese and want opinionated one-line verdicts on nonfiction and tech books.
The thumbs-up/thumbs-down/double-thumbs-up system gives a quick, honest signal on hundreds of titles without any padding. The tech section works as a decent reading path through C, TypeScript, and shell scripting classics, several linked to free online versions. It's been maintained for over a decade with real reading dates, so it tracks one person's actual habits rather than a one-off listicle.
There's no code, no tooling, and no structure beyond a flat markdown list — nothing here is runnable or reusable as a project. Almost entirely Chinese-language content with untranslated titles, so it's inaccessible to non-Chinese readers despite English tech titles mixed in. No annotations beyond the rating symbols — you get a title and a thumbs-up, not why. This is a personal artifact, not something you'd fork, install, or contribute to.
