scroll-tech/contribute-to-scroll
This repository guides developers wanting to contribute to the Scroll ecosystem.
A meta-repo for coordinating contributions to the Scroll zkEVM L2 ecosystem. There is no code here — it's a landing page with issue templates and a JSON file tracking contributions. Stars are from ecosystem participants, not from anything technically interesting.
Issue templates are structured and clearly separate 'add Scroll to X project' from skunkworks proposals. The GitPOAP integration for recognizing contributors is a nice incentive mechanic. contributions.json gives a machine-readable record of integrations.
The repo hasn't been touched since March 2024 and the contributions.json appears to have almost nothing in it — this looks abandoned or unmaintained. The CONTRIBUTING.md links point to a different repo (scroll-tech/contribute, not contribute-to-scroll), which is sloppy and confusing. 1025 stars for a documentation stub with no code is pure ecosystem badge-collecting. There's nothing here a developer would actually use.
