Nextra docs template
A starter repo for a Nextra documentation site, the MDX-based docs framework built on Next.js. It includes a home page, a sample About page, a nested Advanced section, and a theme config, and it deploys to Vercel with one click. It suits developers who want a working docs site to fork rather than wiring Nextra up from scratch.
It is a small, readable starting point. theme.config.tsx holds the site chrome, pages/_meta.json controls navigation, and components/counters.tsx shows how MDX pulls in custom React code. The whole thing can be read in about ten minutes. The pnpm-lock.yaml is committed, so pnpm i reproduces the dependency tree the author tested. The MIT license and the Vercel deploy button make it an easy first step for a team.
The last push was 19 July 2024, more than two years before today. Forking it now means starting on a Nextra and Next.js version that has moved on, so check package.json before trusting the lockfile. The README covers only installing and running the dev server. It says nothing about configuring search or the sidebar, or about deploying anywhere other than Vercel, so you learn the layout by reading theme.config.tsx and the _meta.json files. The visible tree shows no tests and no CI workflow, and the README names no check or build-verification command, so forks inherit that gap.
