Standard Galactic Alphabet
This isn't a library or tool — it's a sprawling personal archive of essays, TeX manuscripts, font experiments, and speculative-fiction PDFs that grew out of a Standard Galactic Alphabet font project. It's for someone curious about conlangs, ciphers, or interface esoterica who wants to poke around a rabbit hole, not for anyone looking to adopt or depend on something.
The live translator and cipher puzzle (hosted via GitHub Pages) actually work and are a fun five-minute distraction. The font is shipped in ttf/woff/woff2, so it's usable in a real CSS stack without conversion. The Cistercian numerals and Dactyl sub-projects are small, self-contained curiosities that are easy to pull out and use independently of the rest of the noise.
There's no directory structure, build system, or manifest — hundreds of loose PDFs, mp3s, and mhtml files sit at repo root with filenames as the only organizing principle, so you can't tell what's current versus abandoned without reading the README's own admission that 'activity is uneven by design.' The actual font development has already moved to a separate repo, making this one's original purpose stale. The TeX sources have no documented toolchain or package list, so reproducing any of the PDFs means guessing at LaTeX dependencies. None of this is testable or versioned in any meaningful sense — it's a wiki wearing a git repo's clothes.
