🩴 Trendy Weekly records my non-boring life.

Weekly is tw93's personal life-digest blog — 284+ issues of travel photos, food, and cat anecdotes — built on Astro and open-sourced as a fork-and-run template for anyone who wants their own bilingual weekly digest site. It's aimed at developers who want an already-wired static blog (i18n, search, comments, PWA) to fork, not people looking for a reusable library.

CI actually enforces en/zh content parity via a dedicated check-content-parity.js script (verify.yml) instead of just hoping translations stay in sync. It ships machine-readable surfaces beyond the HTML: a JSON post API (api/posts.json.ts, api/en/posts/[id].json.ts), a generated llms.txt, and a public .well-known/agent-skills manifest with a SKILL.md — ahead of most blogs on agent/LLM consumption right now. The static-site feature set is more complete than 'just a blog': service worker for offline/PWA, giscus comments wired through config rather than inline embed scripts, and a custom search component.

~280 JPEGs are committed straight into public/assets with no CDN or optimization pipeline beyond a probe-images.js sanity script — repo clone size and rebuild time will keep growing with every issue. The fork-it-yourself story lives entirely in one Deploy.md; there's no in-repo architecture doc, so adapting the build scripts (translate_posts.js, generate-weekly-skill.js) means reading the source to understand what they assume. translate_posts.js implies LLM-driven translation of personal essays — fine for structural parity, but the English posts should be read as rough drafts, not faithful translations.
