Twilio Video Quickstart for iOS
Twilio's iOS sample repo for the Video 5.x SDK, with Swift and Objective-C quickstarts plus single-purpose examples for custom audio devices, raw audio sinks, ARKit and ReplayKit video sources, Data Tracks, and CallKit. It is for iOS developers who need a working reference for one integration point, not a starting template for an app.
Each example is its own Xcode project with its own README, so you can open the one you need without reading the rest. The two custom audio devices, ExampleCoreAudioDevice and ExampleAVAudioEngineDevice, sit side by side, which makes it easy to compare CoreAudio and AVAudioEngine for the same job. The less common paths are here too: a ReplayKit broadcast extension, a custom VideoSource fed from a WKWebView, and Data Track drawing, which are the integration points with the fewest public examples. The README is also direct about limits, saying the simulator has no camera and that ATS is relaxed for testing.
Getting a token means pasting one from the Testing Tools page into ViewController.swift. The real token server is a separate PHP project that you run through ngrok, and the README leaves the auth design to you, so the distance between this quickstart and a shipping app is large. The examples are separate Xcode projects with no shared package, so a fix in one does not reach the others. The .github folder holds only an issue template as far as the listing shows, so nothing in the repo appears to build these projects in CI. Coverage is 5.x only, and older APIs live in tags and branches, so anyone on an older SDK has to dig for the matching code.
