:notebook_with_decorative_cover: :books: A curated list of awesome resources : books, videos, articles about using Next.js (A minimalistic framework for universal server-rendered React applications)
A link-dump for the Next.js ecosystem: articles, boilerplates, extensions, apps, books, videos, and job boards, all organized under one README. It's aimed at people ramping up on Next.js who want a jumping-off point rather than a single canonical resource, and it's popular enough (11k stars) to keep getting PRs years after most of its content was written.
Good top-level structure with a working TOC, and the Extensions section in particular surfaces genuinely useful, still-maintained packages (next-auth, next-seo, next-pwa, next-transpile-modules, Vercel AI SDK) rather than abandonware. It's still getting merged PRs in 2026, so the list isn't frozen in 2018 even though a lot of the content is.
No annotation of what's still relevant vs. dead weight — a third of the Articles and Boilerplates sections point at posts and starter templates from the Next.js 5-9 era (pre-App Router, some pre-hooks), and nothing in the README flags that. There's no quality bar for inclusion: personal portfolio starters and one-off Medium posts sit next to things like shadcn/ui with equal billing. It's a link list with zero code of its own, so there's nothing here to actually run, test, or evaluate technically — the value is entirely dependent on link rot and curator diligence, and this one has clearly accumulated cruft faster than it's been pruned.
