《The Way to Go》中文译本,中文正式名《Go 入门指南》

A community translation of Ivo Balbaert's 'The Way to Go' into Chinese, covering language basics through concurrency and reflection with runnable example code per chapter. It's for Chinese-speaking developers picking up Go for the first time who'd rather not fight through English documentation while also learning a new language.

The example code is organized by chapter and topic (structs, interfaces, io, reflection) rather than dumped in one folder, so you can find the snippet that matches whatever section you're reading. Author got explicit permission from the original writer to adapt content for newer Go versions instead of translating a frozen, outdated text verbatim. 35k stars reflects real, sustained demand — this filled an actual gap in Chinese-language Go material for years.

The source book predates modules, generics, and most of modern Go tooling, and the repo shows no sign of being updated to cover any of that — last push in mid-2024 with no commits addressing language changes since. Some example directories still contain vendored Mercurial repos (.hg folders) checked into git, which is dead weight nobody should be cloning in 2026. It's a static reference, not a maintained project — no issues being triaged, no CI, nothing to contribute code to beyond typo fixes.
