UI Components Library for React Native

// the take

A big React Native component library from Wix covering everything from buttons and cards to date pickers, wizards, and tab controllers, built around Wix's own design-system primitives (Colors, Typography, Spacings, ThemeManager). It's for teams that want a ready-made design system and a large component catalog rather than assembling one from smaller single-purpose libraries.

Genuinely broad component coverage — things like StackAggregator, SectionsWheelPicker, Wizard, and Skeleton that most RN libraries don't bother with, so you're less likely to hit a gap and have to roll your own. The modifier system (marginB-s4, padding-card, bg-primaryColor as props) removes a lot of StyleSheet boilerplate for routine spacing and color work. Design-system concepts (loadColors, loadTypographies, per-component theme overrides via ThemeManager) are first-class, not an afterthought, so theming doesn't feel bolted on. Backed by continuous production use at Wix with its own CI (Buildkite), which is a stronger maintenance signal than most component libraries this size.

No committed timeline for React Native's new architecture (Fabric/TurboModules) — the README admits they're only planning to move from RN 0.73 to 0.77 next, which is a real risk for anyone starting a new project now since old-architecture support won't last indefinitely. The modifier prop API (marginB-s4, padding-card) is Wix-specific syntax, not standard RN style objects, so it locks you into their conventions and makes it harder to mix with plain RN components or migrate off later. Several components live under an 'Incubator' namespace, meaning they're explicitly flagged as less stable — worth checking which ones before depending on them in production. Pulling in 30+ components as one dependency means a heavier bundle and a larger surface to audit than picking several small, focused libraries for just what you need.
